"Lottie is now 2 years old and has been going to Woodberry Day Nursery since she was 4 months old.
Choosing a nursery for Lottie to go to was very difficult, as I would have liked to stay at home with her. When I visited Woodberry I knew instantly that it was the right place for Lottie.
The thing that attracted me to Woodberry other than the friendly team and fantastic security and resources was their ethos on learning through play. As a childcare assessor I feel this is very important. The nursery has always stimulated Lottie and this has done wonders for her development her speech is well advanced, as are her fine and gross motor skills. Lottie knows the names of the team who care for her and they are now working with me to help with potty training.
As a baby of 4 months Woodberry were happy to follow the routine Lottie had already established at home which I believe made starting nursery much easier for her as it was like home from home.
As an anxious parent my daily phone calls to check that Lottie was ok in the first few weeks were very welcomed.
The daily report Lottie brought home when she first started was very helpful, particularly when deciding what to give her for dinner as I knew what she had eaten during the day, it was also fantastic to read about other children she had been interacting with and activities she had enjoyed. The menu offered is very nutritious and the team worked with me very closely when it came to weaning Lottie on to solid food.
Within the nursery I have always found the team very friendly and helpful. Every aspect of Lottie’s ability and development has been catered for and I always know she is safe and secure.
Knowing that Lottie enjoys her time at Woodberry makes my working day much easier. The Woodberry team have always made me feel very welcome and have always encouraged my involvement in the nursery. I am always updated on Lottie’s progress within the nursery making me feel part of her day even when I’m not there.
Both Lottie and I have a fantastic relationship with the Woodberry team and I know that she will continue to develop and enjoy her time with them.

I like the barn area in the garden. I like the thought of Ben being able to play outside even if it is too hot or slightly rainy, excellent idea.

We really love reading about what activities Caitlin has been up to every day. We keep all of her pictures and save her books for when she is older – I’m sure she will find it intriguing reading!

Since moving Ryan to this nursery, I have noticed a massive improvement in his temperament, ability and co-ordination. He seems to enjoy his time at nursery ( as he never wants to come home) which puts us more at ease. A big thank you!

An excellent childcare provider! I was very apprehensive about our baby going to nursery at such a young age but Woodberry Nursery and its team have made the experience much easier. We feel that Freya is safe, happy and enjoying socialising and learning with other children.
